IF Istanbul celebrates its seventh year by launching an international film competition with cash prize for emerging directors.

The competition for films from around the world carries a $ 15, 000 cash prize and will be selected by an international jury of five experts. They are John Cameron Mitchell, photographer and film-maker Perry Ogden, Christopher Leparc and Wendy Mitchell.
